Payment: We ask that you pay a deposit when you make your booking, and rest of payment locally to the rental station.
Payment
The following forms of payment are generally accepted in United States:
Visa, MasterCard, Dinners
ACCEPTED: Visa, MasterCard, Dinners
NOT ACCEPTED: American Express, Laser, Maestro, Debit Cards, Pre-paid Cards
A valid credit card in the name of the main driver must be presented as guarantee for the rental. Our local car rental partner may reserve an amount of 900 Euro as guarantee, which will be released after the end of the rental period if no damage/theft has occurred.
In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card or lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card, car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.
Driver and Licence Requirements
The main (and any additional) driver will need a valid physical driver's license with a photo. Learner’s permits won’t be accepted.
All National driving licences in Roman Alphabet and in a credit card format that are subject to the list of contracting parties to the convention on road traffic in Vienna, will be accepted
All other National driving licences must be accompanied by a valid International Drivers Permit in Roman Alphabet.
Minimum age 21 years, Maximum age is 80 years
Drivers must have held a full licence for a minimum of 1 year.
Drivers must also show their passport or national ID card on collection as additional proof of identity.
Car types
Reservations are always confirmed for a given Car Group -not for a specific car model- The car on your voucher represents the vehicle for the class (Group) you have booked. We cannot guarantee a specific make or model. Any specific cars mentioned are simply typical examples of the size, specifications and performance applying to that car group.
State/Border Restrictions
Not permitted outside Florida state.
Ferry travel:
Not permitted.
One-way Rentals
One-way rentals are allowed between specific cities and vise versa with an extra charge:
Miami to Orlando with the fee of 140,00 €
Miami to Fort Lauderdale with the fee of 45,00 €
Orlando to Fort Lauderdale with the fee of 140,00 €
Collection Time
Vehicles will only be held available for up to two hours after the agreed collection time, clients must contact us if they will arrive before or after the registered time on the voucher.
Included in your booking cost:
Mileage Allowance
Unlimited Miles apart from: The holders of a Florida driver license, mileage is limited to 50 miles per day. For each additional mile an additional charge of 0.99 USD per mile will apply.
Third Party Liability Insurance
THIRD PARTY INSURANCE (Required by Law):

a) Third Party Bodily Injury or Death up to 1,000,000 $ combined single limit.
b) Third Party Property Damage up to 1,000,000 $ combined single limit.

24-hour roadside assistance is provided.

Bookings include all local taxes.

The following mandatory surcharge(s) will be applied:
Toll pass / E-toll device.
Prepaid tolls are available for 14.95 USD per day.
E-Toll/Sunpass activation fee is 9.95 USD per day. Personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.
If the customer declines Toll pass / E-toll device, a penalty of 29.99 USD for each toll used in addition to the cost for each paid or unpaid toll will apply.
If the customer removes Sunpass from the car, an additional penalty of 500 USD will apply.
Additional Drivers:
First additional driver is free of charge. From the second additional driver onwards, an additional charge applies of 9,00€ per day per driver. Minimum age restrictions apply.
Fuel Policy:

Fines and Penalties
You are responsible for the cost of any parking fines or other penalties incurred whilst the Vehicle is on rent to you. The supplier will pass the relevant charge on to you plus any administrative expenses.
Out of Hours service:
No services provided beyond the working hours.
Hotel deliveries:
No hotel delivery/collection option is provided.
Special Requests
Special Request items are available On Request and if applicable are Subject to Availability and Seasonal Variation, and will be provided by location. Special requests cannot be guaranteed. For most locations a security deposit is generally required.
Baby / Child Seats/Booster Seats: 9,00€/day
Baby, Booster and Child Seats are available with an extra charge of 9,00€/day with max charge of 80,00€.
Navigation System: 9,00€/day
Navigation System is available with an extra charge of 9,00€/day with max charge of 80,00€

Insurance
The customer understands that all insurance cover is provided by the company supplying the vehicle for rental and not Autounion car rental. Liability for claims in excess of the insurance cover purchased rests with the hirer of the vehicle. Autounion car rental does not provide insurance cover of any kind in relation to the hire of the vehicle and is not liable for damages incurred in the event of an accident.
Excess/Deposit amounts
EXCESS AMOUNT for A, B1, BA, C, H, D, F, J, J1, K, M, M1 car categories is 1.800€.
SECURITY DEPOSIT (SD) in each rental a credit card is essential.
Deposit for A, B1, BA, C, H, D, F, J, J1, K, M, M1 car categories is 900€.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with excess amount
Is included in the booking cost and reduces the financial liability up to a maximum of: 1.800€ for car categories A, B1, BA, C, H, D, F, J, J1, K, M, M1.
CDW does not provide any coverage concerning damages provoked at the underside part of the vehicle, inside part of the vehicle-saloon, wind shields, mirrors and tires. Basic condition is that the damage is not due to infringement of Road Circulation Code. The Accident Statement should always be supplemented so that the insurances’ covers will be in effect. In case of car accident and damages police report is mandatory. Without police report the client takes full responsibility.
In case of accident, the client must contact the police and report the incident immediately, and submit a copy of the police report, the rental agreement to the rental location. CDW protection does not apply beyond the rental date agreed with the pickup location. For details of this insurance, please check with the supplier on collection of the Vehicle.
Additional Insurances:
FULL DAMAGE WAIVER (FDW)
FDW limits the liability in case of accidents to €0 (Zero) by paying the daily amount of:
28,00€ for car categories A, B1, BA, C, H, D, F, J, J1, K, M, M1.

WHEELS, UNDERSIDE, GLASS(WUG):
AutoUnion Car rental provides an optional insurance which covers damages to wheels, tires, glasses or damages caused to the underside of the car as far as they were not done intentionally or as a result of negligence or oversight. This is available by paying the daily amount of:
9,00€ for car categories A, B1, BA, C, H, D, F, J, J1, K, M, M1.

Exceptions in CDW, FDW, WUG:
Charges for any of the damages written below will be charged directly to the client, the most important are the following: Antenna, trays, damage to car lock, loss or damage to keys, windshield wipers, interior of the car, spare key and car jack, hubcap, lights, gas cap, damage to upholstery of a car, damages to the roof, damages caused by roof rack and any luggage on it, extreme dirtiness in the car, personal belongings in a rented car, damage due to negligence or oversight, damages done intentionally, fuel errors, damage to child seats and baby seats, lack of electricity because of forgotten turned on electrical devices, loss of car documents, loss of registration plate. The car rental company, in any case, is not obligated to replace a flat tyre or damages in music devices (radio, CD/mp3 player, etc.).
Towing costs are not covered by any insurance.
Autounion car rental will not refund any telephone, taxi or hotel costs.
Autounion car rental or the car rental company will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, causing willful damage, off road driving, driving without care and attention or damages caused by negligence and traffic violations.
The client will accept direct responsibility in respect of such claims.
Any unnoticed accident or damage to the vehicle may be interpreted as negligence. This may result in a charge to the client.

Theft Protection (TP)
Is included in the booking cost, in the case of theft or fire, you must contact the police and report the incident immediately, and submit a copy of the police report, the rental agreement and the Vehicles keys to the rental location. Responsibility is non-waiverable in case of theft or damages due to a theft attempt (excess applies). Theft protection does not apply beyond the rental date agreed with the pickup location. Renter’s Obligation:
The vehicle should be used only by the renter or other additional drivers mentioned on the rental agreement. The vehicle is prohibited to be used, for infringement of provisions of the United States Road Circulation Code, for purposes opposite to the USA Florida laws, for towing other vehicles, in order to transport heavy objects or baggage.
Local renters:
Local renters are allowed to use their own coverage only if it is supplied by the following company(ies): State Farm, Liberty Mutual, Geico, All State, Infinity.
A local renter is defined as a renter who is a resident of Canada, USA.
Renter must provide a proof of own insurance.
Acceptable proof of insurance must include insurance declaration page, insurance declaration page, liability insurance (SLI) with not less than 300.000 USD liability limit, Property Damage Liability (PDL) coverage with a limit of at least 300.000 USD.
Cancellation policy
24 hours prior to arrival no cancellation fee is required, less than 24 hours a cancellation fee equal to the deposit given at the time of reservation/confirmation is required.
